Globo Expands Reach in Dominican Republic

SÃO PAULO: Brazilian broadcaster Globo has secured a carriage deal with Aster, one of the Dominican Republic’s biggest pay-TV operators.

Through the agreement, Aster is set to include Globo’s international channel in its basic package. Some of the network’s programming includes telenovelas, soccer, children’s shows and journalistic offerings.

The Brazilian channel is also available in the Caribbean nation through a premium package on Sky, another pay-TV operator.
