DISH Adds Trio of Univision Networks

LAS VEGAS: Univision Communications has signed a multi-year agreement to bring a trio of Spanish-language networks to DISH Latino subscribers.

Univision Deportes, Univision tlnovelas and Univision Noticias will launch on DISH in the first half of this year. Also as part of the deal, DISH will offer exclusive access to Univision Deportes. The agreement further includes the distribution of the Univision Network, TeleFutura, Galavisión and a suite of six channel offerings (De Película, De Película Clásico, Bandamax, Ritmoson, Telehit and Clásico TV). The partnership adds more than 3,500 titles to DISH’s Blockbuster @Home package, including exclusive VOD content.
