Carlos Bardasano Named VP of Original Content for Univision Networks

MIAMI: Carlos Bardasano, who formerly led programming and content at Univision Communications’ UniMás broadcast network, has been appointed VP of original content for the Univision networks.

The exec will oversee all the production of original content from Univision Communications' main content providers, which include Televisa, Venevision, Caracol, RTI and Sony. He previously served as VP of programming and original content for UniMás, where he supervised all programming, production and strategy.

Also moved to a new position is Andrés Mendoza, who’s been tapped as the new VP of programming and strategy for UniMás. Before taking on that role, Mendoza served as the director of programming, planning and strategy for the Univision networks.
