Benjamin Salinas Sada Named New TV Azteca CEO

MEXICO CITY: Benjamin Salinas Sada, son of Grupo Salinas founder Ricardo B. Salinas, has been tapped to replace Mario San Roman as CEO of TV Azteca.

Salinas Sada has been a member of Grupo Salinas’s executive committee of strategy for the past five years. He has also produced several multiplatform titles for TV Azteca, including Asgaard and Drenaje Profundo.

Having served as CEO since 2004, San Roman will now hold the post of vice chairman of the board, responsible for executing strategic projects and advising the new CEO.

TV Azteca is a Grupo Salinas company and a major producer of Spanish-language TV programming.
