Liberty Global Names President for LatAm & Caribbean Operations

DENVER: Betzalel Sergio Kenigsztein, currently the managing director for Liberty Global’s Central and Eastern European region, has been named president and COO of the company’s Latin American and Caribbean operations.

Kenigsztein’s appointment is effective July 1. The executive will report directly to Liberty CEO Mike Fries, working to manage the company’s businesses in Chile and Puerto Rico while developing strategic opportunities in the region.

Kenigsztein joined the company in 2004 as CTO of Liberty’s business in the Netherlands, and in 2009 was appointed the managing director of Hungary. He became the managing director for the CEE region in 2013.
