Globo Celebrates 40 Years of International Success

MIAMI: More than 150 guests were on hand at a breakfast held by Globo in Miami to celebrate 40 years on the international market.

The Brazilian distributor presented its 2013 catalogue, which includes Brazil Avenue, which scored an 84-percent share during its final episode. Among the other highlights are Sparkling Girls, starring Taís Araújo; the remake of Gabriela, with Juliana Paes; Life We Lead; and Dinosaurs and Robots. Globo also released three new series, five GloboDocs installments and a musical special.

In 2012 we launched strong products that have captivated audiences around the world such as The Illusionist and The Invisible Woman, which won the International Emmy Award for Best Telenovela and Best Comedy, in addition to the GloboDoc Extreme Planet, which was also nominated.”
