New platforms that have signed on to carry the series are Cartoon Network in the Philippines, Mediacorp in Singapore, DexyCo Kids in the Balkans and more.

In the Philippines, Zoonicorn recently debuted on Cartoon Network, and toy distributor Playkit launched Zoonicorn toys and other products at retail.

Edel Kids organized a theatrical release of eight episodes of Zoonicorn in more than 400 theaters across Germany and Austria. The screenings provided product and plush giveaways supplied by Zoonicorn master toy licensee United Smile.

Future Today acquired the second season of Zoonicorn to add to its lineup on HappyKids TV in the U.S. Kartoon Channel and Kabillion have also been added to Zoonicorn’s reach in the U.S.

Toonz has also signed an agreement with DexyCo in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia to air season one soon and season two later this year. A licensed products line will debut in the Balkans as well.

Regarding the licensing deals, Jay@Play will release Zoonicorn-branded Sleepy Sacks under its Happy Nappers line in addition to reintroducing plushes as part of its Wish Me brand. Storypod, meanwhile, released a Zoonicorn Promi yarn Craftie in the U.S., which features three original audio stories and 11 songs. Big Events has signed on to produce large-scale inflatables and parade balloons for the North American and Latin American markets.

Global licensing for the Zoonicorn brand is shared by Toonz Entertainment and Zoonicorn LLC and headed by J’net Smith of All Art Licensing.

The Zoonicorn series follows zebra-unicorn creatures who inhabit the dreams of young animals, taking them on adventures to help learn social-emotional skills, with a focus on determination, optimism and resilience. Mark Zaslove (Winnie the Pooh, Lazytown, Bob the Builder) serves as showrunner and lead writer/editor for the series. The music for the show is composed by Rich Dickerson.
