Mondo TV Group has signed a co-production agreement for Lola on Board with Italy’s TILE and Digitalcomoedia and India’s Toonzstation Mocca Studio.

Set for a summer 2024 release, the 3D CGI series follows the adventures of a little girl who spends her summer holiday on a cruise ship with her grandmother. While on board, she befriends a seagull, monkey and baby dolphin and learns more about the natural world.

Lola on Board will be distributed internationally by Mondo TV Group, Mondo TV Studios (now part of the Spanish group Squirrel Media) and Toonzstation for their respective territories.

Matteo Corradi, CEO of Mondo TV CEO, said: “One little girl, seven seas, one thousand adventures! That’s what Lola on Board offers its young audience—and with the help of three highly regarded companies in their fields, we plan to bring to screens around the world a truly innovative, entertaining and educational show that is unlike any other.”
