Banijay Kids & Family has inked a slate of international distribution deals for the Emmy-nominated animation Moominvalley.

TF1’s SVOD service TFOU Max (France) has picked up season one, while seasons one and two are set to land on RÚV (Iceland) and RTS (Switzerland). NPO (the Netherlands), ABC (Australia) and PBS (Thailand) have picked up the first through third.

The series’ four seasons are produced by Gutsy Animations in collaboration with Yle and Sky, with Viaplay boarding the latest season.

Cecile Cau, senior VP of sales, co-productions and acquisitions for Banijay Kids & Family, commented: “By further expanding the show’s reach through this broad range of sales, Moominvalley continues to demonstrate the strength of its cross-generational and cross-cultural appeal. This is a timeless series that resonates with our international buyers, and we hope to bring it to even more homes across the globe.”
