Disney Channel Renews Stuck in the Middle

BURBANK: Disney Channel has ordered a sophomore season of the live-action comedy series Stuck in the Middle.

The single-camera comedy follows middle child Harley Diaz, who has six siblings. The family of nine must deal with everyone’s different personalities and conflicting schedules, and Harley uses her inventions to navigate life as a middle child. Season two will continue to explore Harley’s relationships with her brothers and sisters. Production on season two of Stuck in the Middle will begin in the fall. Season one premiered in February and currently airs on Fridays at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel.

The series is executive produced by Linda Videtti Figueiredo. Jenna Ortegam stars as Harley. The show also features Isaak Presley, Ronni Hawk, Kayla Maisonet, Nicolas Bechtel, Malachi Barton, Ariana Greenblatt, Cerina Vincent and Joe Nieves.
