BBC Studios has teamed up with LEGO Group and StoryToys Partners to introduce a mobile game for Bluey in August.

The game will feature characters, builds and props from the upcoming LEGO Bluey range, set to launch on June 1. It will reflect the same values and themes as the hit TV series.

The game will offer digital play experiences mixed with creative brick-building and problem-solving chances, as well as the chance to play out moments from the show. It is designed to align with young children’s developmental needs.

“We are delighted to bring LEGO Bluey to life as an interactive experience that captures the joy, creativity and sense of play that families love about Bluey,” said Emmet O’Neill, chief executive of StoryToys. “This app builds upon the success of our LEGO DUPLO apps and continues our mission to create engaging digital experiences that support children’s development through play.

“StoryToys embraces the power of play to inspire children. By bringing the beloved character Bluey into the digital world of LEGO play, children can now explore Bluey’s adventures through fun and engaging content.”

Marina Mello, global director for gaming and interactive at BBC Studios, added, “I’m delighted that BBC Studios is partnering with the talented teams at StoryToys, LEGO Group and Ludo Studio on this fantastic project. The partnership will offer Bluey fans an all-new way to play though a beautifully crafted experience that brings together two iconic brands known for their unique sense of fun.”
