Amazon Slates Creative Galaxy Season Two Premiere

SEATTLE: The second season of the preschool series Creative Galaxy is making its debut on Amazon Prime Video next month.

The sophomore season of the Amazon original kids’ series from Out of the Blue Enterprises will launch on September 16. The show follows an alien named Arty and his sidekick Epiphany as they travel around the galaxy to solve problems using various forms of art. Season two will see Arty introduce viewers to two new art forms: cooking and singing and dancing.

Each episode puts a spotlight on a different form of art such as painting, sculpting or music. The animated series also features live-action craft segments to help adults re-create art projects with their kids.

Angela Santomero (Blue’s Clues, Super Why!, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) is the creator and executive producer. Samantha Freeman also serves as an executive producer. Samantha Bee (The Daily Show), Jason Jones (The Daily Show), Cloris Leachman (Malcolm in the Middle), Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210) and Brooke Shields (Lipstick Jungle) are returning for the new season, along with singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb (Jake and the Never Land Pirates), Donovan Patton (Blue’s Clues) and Broadway actress Caissie Levy (Les Miserables). Arty is voiced by Meesha Contreras, while Kira Gelineau lends her voice to Epiphany.
