Hopster Launches New Music Game Bubble Beat

Hopster has added to its offering a new underwater-themed game called Bubble Beat, which allows kids to express themselves through music and develop their “inner hearing.”

Bubble Beat is meant to help children learn how to play simple tunes on a coral keyboard. The game encourages youngsters to listen and play back a series of notes from popular nursery rhymes using the solfege technique. In the “play” mode, little ones can explore different sounds and rhythms and create their own first compositions.

Bubble Beat can be found on Hopster in a special music area featuring such popular content as Big Block Singsong, Nick Cope and Hopster Jam.

Leila Ingram, the head of learning at Hopster, commented: “Hopster knows music can play a key role in supporting young children’s early development and that kids adore fun, musical interactions, be it through song, rhymes or playing an instrument. Hopster already has an exciting collection of rhymes and songs for kids to embrace but was missing a truly interactive music tool. Bubble Beat fills this gap, allowing kids to compose their own tunes in ‘play’ mode as well as teaching them to play well-known nursery rhymes by following a sequence of notes in ‘learn’ mode.”
