Buyers from Cartoon Network, ZDF, Kidoodle.TV & Hopster Set for TV Kids Festival

Cartoon Network’s Adina Pitt, ZDF’s Nicole Keeb, Kidoodle.TV’s Brenda Bisner and Hopster’s Ellen Solberg are on board to take part in a panel session focused on acquisition strategies during the TV Kids Festival.

Pitt is the VP of content acquisitions and co-productions for Cartoon Network and Boomerang. Keeb is the head of international co-productions and acquisitions for children and youth at ZDF. Bisner is the chief content officer of Kidoodle.TV. Solberg is the head of content at Hopster. Together, the executives will share their programming strategies, current acquisitions wish lists and more during a panel discussion with TV Kids.

Earlier today it was announced that Dan Povenmire, whose credits include the global hit Phineas and Ferb, is to deliver a creative keynote as part of the TV Kids Festival. The announcement comes fresh on the heels of Traci Paige Johnson and Angela Santomero, the co-creators of the hit series Blue’s Clues and Blue’s Clues & You!, joining the TV Kids Festival roster, alongside the previously announced participants Eric Ellenbogen, the CEO and vice chair of WildBrain; Claude Schmit, the CEO of Super RTL; and Sebastian Debertin, the head of fiction, acquisitions and co-productions at KiKA.

Taking place from February 2 to 4, 2021, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the importance of alliances in producing and distributing top-notch kids’ programming today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on World Screen’s brand-new, state-of-the-art events and festivals platform.
