Finnish Adaptation of Nippon TV’s Silent Library Renewed

Two additional seasons have been ordered of the Finnish adaptation of the Nippon TV format Silent Library for The Walt Disney Company-owned Star Channel.

Silent Library Suomi kicks off a new season on Star Channel in Finland today. Rabbit Films continues to produce the Finnish-language version. The first two seasons aired with 36 episodes in 2023, and a fourth season is planned for fall 2024.

Riku Rantala, a multi-talented reporter, author and host of a popular local documentary program, will continue to lead the series.

Since its launch as an international format in 2007, local versions of Silent Library have been developed in more than 20 countries around the world.
