BBC Studios is set to transfer production of Dragons’ Den to its hub in Glasgow, Scotland.

The 20th season of Dragons’ Den will be the first to be produced from the Glasgow hub, while studio recordings will remain in Manchester for the season. The move, which is set for next year, will create a number of openings for Scotland-based editorial and production management personnel.

The BBC Studios factual-entertainment team in Scotland is overseen by Adeline Ramage.

A BBC Studios production, Dragons’ Den returns to BBC One in the new year with its 19th season.

Hannah Wyatt, BBC Studios’ managing director for factual-entertainment and events productions, said: “Like Top Gear’s recently announced relocation to Bristol, this is another really positive move for one of our factual-entertainment jewels. I’m sure Scottish talent will bring new perspectives and ideas, and our Glasgow hub is shaping up to be one of our most productive and creative bases.”
