Season Two of Armoza Formats’ Date in Reverse in South Africa

Armoza Formats has secured a deal for a second season of the dating show Date in Reverse in South Africa.

Created by Volley Formats, Shenhar Productions and Daniella Slavik, Date in Reverse sees two singles looking for love getting to know each other by experiencing relationship milestones backwards—from the marital bed and the wedding reception to the first family get-together and a weekend getaway. At the end, each couple will decide whether or not they’re willing to show up for their “first date.”

The first season of Date in Reverse recently aired on the Afrikaans-language lifestyle channel VIA, where it tripled the channel’s prime-time slot’s performance. The second season is already in production to be aired later this summer.
