New Appointments for Royal Television Society Board

LONDON: Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media, and Rob Woodward, CEO of STV Group, have joined the Royal Television Society’s board of trustees, which is chaired by ITN CEO John Hardie.

“These appointments are part of the Royal Television Society’s strategy for continued growth,” commented CEO Theresa Wise. “The strength of our board is vital in ensuring we make the most effective use of our resources and with Jane and Rob’s extensive experience and industry knowledge they will make fantastic additions.”

The Royal Television Society has also appointed several new fellows, including Alastair Fothergill, nature doc producer and founder of Silverback Films; Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert; John McVay, CEO of Pact; award-winning writers Kay Mellor and Sally Wainwright; Charlotte Moore, BBC’s controller for TV channels and iPlayer; Stuart Murphy, former director of entertainment channels at Sky; and TV director John Watts.
