Metronome to Rebrand as Shine Nordics

STOCKHOLM: Metronome Film & Television, which has been owned by Shine Group since 2009, is rebranding as Shine Nordics.

Metronome Film & Television encompasses 12 companies across Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Shine Nordics encompasses Meter Television, STO-CPH Produktion, Filmlance International and Friday TV in Sweden; Rubicon TV and Metronome Spartacus in Norway; Shine Finland Oy in Finland and Metronome Productions and Heartland in Denmark. All individual company names remain unaffected by the change.

Gary Carter, chairman of Northern Europe at Shine Group, said, “The desire to change name came from the MD’s within the Metronome Group who unanimously felt that Shine Nordics is both simpler and more relevant to their business in 2014. Shine Nordics clarifies the relationship to the parent company and better reflects the companies’ role within a truly international production group.”
