The Style Network to Join Virgin Platform

LONDON: Universal Networks International has placed The Style Network with the Virgin Media platform, where it will launch on March 6.

The channel will feature an updated brand and image, with a new on-air look, logo and tagline in the U.K. and around the world. This follows on the North American refresh that took place in mid-2012. The channel is home to such shows as Big Rich Texas, Giuliana and Bill, Jerseylicious and Glam Fairy. As part of the refresh, new originals coming to the network include Big Rich Atlanta, House of Fab and Built.

Laurence Dawkin-Jones, the U.K. managing director of Universal Networks International, said: “With a polished and eye-catching new on-air look and a raft of compelling new shows, this is the perfect time to extend Style’s reach to a wider U.K. audience. We are delighted to be launching the channel onto Virgin Media, completing our line up on the platform, and giving Virgin Media’s customers access to the full range of high-quality programming across all our branded channels.”
