Novavision to Become NOVOVISION

PARIS: Starting January 1, 2013, the production and distribution company Novavision is taking on the new name NOVOVISION.

While the change goes into effect as of January 1, 2013, at the upcoming MIPCOM market the company will be displaying its logo with the second "a" crossed out and an "O" superimposed. The company, which acquired MEG early in 2011, is a leading provider of short-form, non-verbal comedy programs.

François-Xavier Poirier, the president of Novavision, said: “We took this decision to avoid any possible confusion with other brands. Novovision, which is how our Latin American clients often refer to us, emerged as a natural choice. Novavision therefore becomes NOVOVISION.”
