Noel Hedges Joins Cineflix Rights

LONDON: Noel Hedges has been named senior VP of acquisitions for Cineflix Rights, a newly created position, effective in September.

Hedges will work under Chris Bonney, the CEO of Rights for Cineflix Media, and will be in charge of the department’s third-party acquisitions strategy. He is expected to help grow the company’s third-party programming catalogue.

Previously, Hedges held the same title at Shine International, where he served as head of the company’s U.K. and U.S. acquisitions teams. Before that, he worked at ITV Studios Global Entertainment as the senior VP of sales and acquisitions in the Americas and head of drama.

“I’m delighted to welcome Noel to Cineflix,” said Bonney. “He brings with him a wealth of hands-on experience across geographies, genres and acquisitions business models that will help us achieve the next phase of our aggressive third party plan.”
