MIPTV Builds Up Super Sunday Program

PARIS: The Super Sunday event program at MIPTV, which is also open to MIPCube participants, will feature keynotes from Amazon’s Anthony Bay, Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka and Discovery’s JB Perrette.

MIPTV kicks off on Sunday, April 1, and runs until Wednesday, April 4. The Super Sunday program is focused on Connected Devices and Connected Audiences. Lined up to deliver Media Mastermind keynotes are Anthony Bay, the VP of Amazon.com, who will give an insight of Amazon’s digital media strategy and its impact on the global content industry; Peter Vesterbacka, the chief marketing officer at Rovio, who drives the marketing and brand strategy of the company behind the worldwide phenomenon Angry Birds; and Jean-Briac (JB) Perrette, the chief digital officer at Discovery Communications, who is in charge of extending Discovery’s non-fiction content library to the multiplatform universe.

“MIPTV’s Super Sunday program of events will act as the bridge between MIPCube and MIPTV and bring together a great panel of celebrated game-changers from leading digital companies, including Anthony Bay from Amazon, Peter Vesterbacka from Rovio and JB Perrette from Discovery,” said Laurine Garaude, the director of the television division at Reed MIDEM.
