ProSiebenSat.1 has established Seven. One Studios, a new umbrella brand consisting of its eight production subsidiaries and global program distribution arm, under the leadership of CEO Henrik Pabst.

The move follows the sale of Red Arrow Studio’s U.S. production business earlier this year. Its remaining production ventures in Germany, the U.K., Denmark and Israel—Cheerio Entertainment, CPL Productions, Endor Productions, Flat White Productions, July August Productions, Pyjama Pictures and Redseven Entertainment—will sit under Seven. One Studios alongside Red Arrow Studios International.

Pabst serves as CEO of Seven. One Studios—as well as chief content officer of Seven. One Entertainment Group—with Alexander Pesch as CFO and Martin Metzger as COO.

“The demand for content is only increasing,” Pabst said. “This makes it all the more important for cross-platform providers like ProSiebenSat.1 to have access to the right content and its development, including in-house production capacities. By founding Seven. One Studios, we are making ourselves more independent from the competitive German production market. Our European production houses, alongside our well-established Israeli production company, remain a vital part of our business. It is also clear: We will continue to spend a large part of our local budget on the third-party producer market. Likewise, our production companies will continue to operate freely on the market and work for external clients.”
