BBC Studios Names Executive VP of Global Operations

Nicola Greaves is expanding her remit in a new role as BBC Studios’ executive VP of global operations.

Greaves will oversee the management, strategy and delivery of BBC Studios content for its branded services (comprising global channels and UKTV) and distribution businesses. This includes global sales delivery, content operations, localization services, playout and distribution, content security, business operations, archive operations and postproduction.

Greaves will be reporting to Martyn Freeman, BBC Studios’ chief operating officer and general counsel.

Alongside her new responsibilities, Greaves will continue to oversee UKTV’s technology and operations, reporting to Marcus Arthur, UKTV’s CEO. She will remain on the executive leadership team of UKTV, which she joined in 2013.

Greaves will take up her new post in mid-April.
