ORF-Enterprise Unveils MIPCOM Lineup

ORF-Enterprise has revealed its MIPCOM lineup, which features titles for ORF UNIVERSUM Nature, UNIVERSUM History and more.

ORF UNIVERSUM Nature, led by Gernot Lecher, has four new wildlife and nature documentaries in its fall lineup, including Hudson River—Journey into the Wild. All of the new documentaries show the variety of wildlife on three continents with Ultra HD images.

The other new programs for ORF UNIVERSUM Nature are Sardinia—Ship of Stone, Austria’s Wild Heritage—One Country Six National Parks and the two-parter Colombia—Wild and Free.

UNIVERSUM History, led by Caroline Haidacher, has three highlights: 1278—Battle for Europe, representing a battle that was a turning point in world history; Emperor Augustus—Tyrant and Peacemaker, exploring the life of an emperor with two names and two faces; and The Rothschild Legacy, shedding light on the history of the Rothschild family through the eyes of Miriam Rothschild, a renowned scientist of the 20th century.

Also on ORF-Enterprise’s MIPCOM slate is Conspiracy, the latest addition to the successful Tatort crime-movie brand, which consists of 26 films.

The upcoming final season of Soko Kitzbuehel sees the Alpine cops kept on their toes by baffling cases.

The brand-new ORF comedy series We are Family, from head writer Mischa Zickler, follows Daniela and Andreas as they make regular visits to their couples’ therapist.

Eleven new episodes of Suburbia—Women on the Edge, the newly released third season of Walking on Sunshine and the seventh season of Fast Forward are also in ORF-Enterprise’s MIPCOM lineup.
