BET International Goes Digital in the U.K.


Channel 5’s My5 on-demand streaming platform will be the official home of BET UK as it transitions to a digital-first brand in the U.K.

A dedicated BET channel will launch on Pluto TV in the U.K. on April 5, following recent launches in Brazil and France.

In addition to featuring a strong pipeline of BET U.S. content on the free streaming services, BET UK will roll out a new slate of local U.K. originals, including Celebrity Comfort Food and the social-first series Black to the Future (working title) and We Do That. The brand also announced BET Amplifind UK, which will showcase up and coming musical talent in the U.K.
