STV Player Boosts Content Offering

Scottish broadcaster STV is expanding its VOD offering with the addition of 270 hours of new content and two more live streaming channels to the STV Player.

New deals have been struck with Endemol Shine, Stingray Qello, DUST, Flame and Konnect Digital. From Endemol Shine International comes Gracepoint, Crownies and The Bridge. The true-crime offering includes Who The Bleep Did I Marry? and Real Prison Breaks. Stingray’s Qello Concerts brings a collection of full-length concerts and music documentaries. Gunpowder & Sky’s channel DUST has a handpicked selection of light-hearted comedies, dystopian thrillers and more. Flame bolsters the sports and factual genres with Bike World, arm-wrestling show, Arm Nation and boxing series Against the Ropes, as well as extreme beauty-fix series Vanity Insanity and paranormal investigations with Haunting Australia. Konnect Digital’s DICE Content Exchange bringing viewers 13 episodes of Ring Warriors, along with the lifestyle programs India’s Kitchen and Yoga with AJ.

Our Player-only content is growing increasingly popular, with a number of our 50 box sets regularly jumping into the top ten most-watched shows.
