Disney+ French Launch Postponed

At the request of the French government given the current risk of broadband networks’ congestion caused by the COVID-19 crisis, Disney has agreed to postpone the launch of its Disney+ streaming service in France, initially scheduled for March 24, until April 7.

Disney+ will be available from its launch, now set for April 7, in CANAL+ offers. CANAL+ will offer this new streaming service to its subscribers and will further extend the reach of Disney+ through third-party distribution partners such as ISPs. CANAL+ will include Disney+ in a wide range of offers for its new subscribers.
