Big Bang Media Appoints New CEO

Carmen González has been named the new CEO of Big Bang Media, a production company under The Mediapro Studio’s umbrella.

González, who was responsible for general content management at Telemadrid, returned to the Mediapro Group in 2000, when she was appointed director of the R&D and projects department at Globomedia. She began her career in 1993 as a screenwriter and programming director.

Alberto Carullo, founder and former director of Big Bang Media, will continue to be associated with The Mediapro Studio and passes the baton to González as the company faces this new stage with fresh challenges. Highlights from the company include Perdida (Atresmedia), Caronte (Mediaset), Casados a primera vista (Antena 3), Me cambio de familia (Telecinco, Cuatro), Espíritu Salvaje (Cuatro) and 7 días sin ellas (TVE).
