Jill Offman’s Role Expands at VIS

Jill Offman is taking on an expanded managing director role at Viacom International Studios (VIS), covering all English-speaking markets.

Offman’s responsibilities, which already involved management oversight of VIS’s U.K. arm, will now also include content sourcing opportunities for Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Further, VIS UK is also set to expand under Offman’s leadership as it moves into scripted development, beginning with a slate of five co-production projects—The Gold, Artemisia, Natalya, Sleepless and The Turkish Detective.

In her role at VIS UK, Offman has restructured the team to center on the scripted, comedy, reality, factual and children’s genres, adding scripted, comedy and children’s during her tenure.
