all3media international Inks Deal with Russia’s ivi

all3media international is set to send 50 hours of premium content to the OTT VOD platform ivi, which operates in Russia, CIS and the Baltics.

The acquisition features a slate of prime-time dramas and exclusive rights in the region to the upcoming thriller The Feed from The Walking Dead writer Channing Powell and the original drama Dark Money. It also includes non-exclusive rights to the BAFTA nominee Informer, Liar from Two Brothers Pictures for ITV and AMC, Hidden (Craith) and Mystery Road. Further, ivi has selected and picked up the non-exclusive rights to ten hours of factual series and specials from all3media international’s catalog, including health and lifestyle themed titles Diet Secrets and How To Lose Weight and three one-hour specials produced for BBC One: The Sticky Truth About Sugar, The Truth About Sleep and The Truth About Stress.

Two North One Television specials for Channel 4—Guy Martin vs the Robot Car and Guy Martin’s WW1 Tank—and the one-hour special Rise of the Superstar Vloggers round out the deal.

Maria Smirnova, head of content at ivi, said: “We’re very pleased to sign our first collaboration with the team at all3media international, enabling us to bring a diverse variety of drama and factual programming to our ever-growing subscriber base. Securing premium international content is central to delivering our award-winning service and impactful, thought-provoking titles such as The Feed and Dark Money are exactly what our viewers are looking for.”

Debra Bergg, sales manager at all3media international, added: “This 50-hour package includes a fantastic range of globally appealing titles created by some of the best producers in the business. Partnering with dynamic market leaders such as ivi is a key part of our sales strategy and I’m confident this first deal will be just the start of a successful ongoing relationship.”
