Fulwell73, the producers behind Sounds Like Friday Night, Roast Battle, The Late Late Show and Carpool Karaoke, has appointed Sheldon Lazarus to the position of senior development executive, effective immediately.

Based in London, Lazarus will report to Caroline Roseman, Fulwell73’s head of U.K. development, and work across the company’s slate of upcoming productions, as well as those projects he brings with him to his new role. Lazarus founded the production company Bitachon 360 last year, and all of its current projects in development and production will now fall under the Fulwell73 banner.

Prior to joining Fulwell73, Lazarus held the role of creative director at both Lincoln Square Productions (part of ABC News/Disney) and September Films, as well as founding and serving as creative director at Rize USA, part of DCD Media.

Lazarus has worked on such productions as CBBC’s entertainment series Got What It Takes, ITV’s Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Channel 4’s documentary The Billion Pound Hotel along with C4 series Liberty of London, the BBC 2 documentary series A Very British Wedding, A&E Network’s Billy The Exterminator, ABC Network feature documentary The Last 100 Days of Princess Diana and the BAFTA-winning BBC children’s series Richard Hammond’s Blast Lab.

Lazarus commented: “To be able to join the Fulwell73 family is an absolute privilege. As we enter this Golden Age of content both here and in the U.S., it is a very exciting time to be part of a truly international company whose focus is on delivering the very best award-winning programming.”

Fulwell73 Partner Leo Pearlman said: “Sheldon’s proven track record in creating and producing a wide range of entertainment and factual shows for major broadcasters over the past decade is hugely impressive. His particular experience in creating and producing hit comedy and entertainment programming for prime-time audiences across the U.K. and U.S. makes him an obvious hire for Fulwell. He makes a fantastic addition to Caroline’s already highly talented team, and we’re looking forward to working with him to produce some exciting new shows, a number of which we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks.”
