HBO Europe Goes Direct to Consumer in Portugal

HBO Europe has launched its latest direct-to-consumer streaming service, HBO Portugal, delivering HBO originals as well as series, movies, docs and family content from third parties.

The SVOD service provides premium content directly to consumers and is accessible through a range of smartphones, tablets and devices, including PCs, LG TV, PlayStation 4, Android TV, Chromecast and Apple TV. Vodafone Portugal is the exclusive operator partner for local distribution, giving Vodafone Portugal customers access to the streaming service via TV Vodafone.

HBO Portugal is home to more than 4,500 episodes of HBO original series, including Game of Thrones and Big Little Lies. It also houses programming from the likes of Showtime, SundanceTV, SYFY, The CW, AMC, DreamWorks and Turner.
