back2back, a U.K.-based independent entertainment production company, has hired a trio of creative executives full time.

Taking up the post of head of production will be Anna Boronta. Claire Hamilton and Mitzi David will serve as senior production executive and junior production executive, respectively.

Boronta claims more than 20 years of experience at some of the U.K.’s most prominent entertainment companies, including RDF, Shine, Firecracker and Fever Media. Her credits include BBC One’s MasterChef, TLC’s Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, ITV’s 71 Degrees North and BBC Two’s Repair Shop. Boronat most recently served as production manager on back2back’s Duran Duran: There’s Something You Should Know special.

Prior to her promotion to senior production executive, Hamilton, who’s been with back2back since 2016, worked on Body Cam Cops, Nicholas & Alexandra, The World’s Deadliest Weather and Mega Air at the production executive level.

David, who also began working with back2back in 2016, has served as a freelance production manager on several of the company’s shows, including Mega Shippers for Discovery, Scrap Kings for Quest and Viasat, and Help! My House is Haunted for UKTV.

Boronat said: “It’s a pivotal and exciting point in the development of the company, with the year ahead anchored with series in production and a loyal core team. The essence of back2back is a willingness and openness to try new ideas based on a solid business plan, which is a challenge I look forward to as head of production.”

David Notman-Watt, back2back’s founder and managing director, added: “Last year was back2back’s most successful to date. We posted a turnover of £3.9 million ($4,985,011) and this figure looks set to be beaten in 2018-19. Our dramatic growth is down to an exceptionally talented and hardworking team—a team that has now been strengthened by three highly experienced production team members. Anna, Claire and Mitzi will help us to harness the momentum of the last two years as we work to build the brands and returning series that are the DNA of our business.”
