SPI/Filmbox Relaunches Theatrical Distribution in CEE

SPI International has relaunched its theatrical distribution business with the acquisition of two new titles, including the Nicole Kidman-led Destroyer, for Eastern Europe.

SPI’s deal with Rocket Science includes the modern Los Angeles crime thriller Destroyer, starring Oscar winner Nicole Kidman. Also, The Beach Bum, directed by Harmony Korine (Spring Breakers, Kids), follows the misadventures of Moondog, a stoner poet played by Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey. Co-starring with McConaughey are Snoop Dog, Zac Efron, Martin Lawrence and Isla Fisher.

SPI has secured theatrical, TV and VOD rights for CEE territories on both titles.
