Discovery, YouTube Execs Set for Edinburgh TV Festival

Nancy Daniels, chief brand officer for Discovery and factual, and Luke Hyams, head of originals at YouTube EMEA, are slated to speak during this year’s Edinburgh TV Festival.

Daniels will take part in the Gamechanger strand. She will discuss the new opportunities available to producers within Discovery Channel and Science Channel, and share her broader vision for the brands over the next year.

Hyams will explain how the YouTube Originals commissioning process works, outlining commissions so far and what’s still to come on the streaming platform. He will also talk about opportunities that are open to the U.K. indie sector.
