Red Arrow Adds New Dutch Comedy to Catalog

Red Arrow Studios International has signed on to distribute Lice Mother, a successful new comedy series from the Netherlands.

Set in a primary school, Lice Mother centers on a newly divorced child psychologist who becomes responsible for checking children’s heads for lice. The show is directed by Jan-Albert de Weerd (Lost in the Game) and penned by Ilse Warringa, Diederik Ebbinge and Eva Aben.

Lice Mother comes from BING Film & TV for AvroTros/NPO3 in the Netherlands, where it has been renewed for a second season. The scripted format was recently ordered for multiple seasons by Germany’s SAT.1 and Belgium’s VTM.
