Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPTN) is launching the free-to-air Sony Crime Channel in the U.K. next month.

True Crime will be merged with Sony Channel and rebranded as Sony Crime Channel, which goes live February 6. The lineup will include a mix of crime dramas and factual series, featuring titles such as Orange is the New Black, Line of Duty, Real Detective: North of the Border, Person of Interest, CSI, Deadly Women, Hustle and Law & Order.

Sony Crime Channel will be SPTN’s second Sony-branded free-to-air network in the U.K., following on the successful launch of Sony Movie Channel in January 2017.

Kate Marsh, the executive VP for Western Europe in the International Networks division, said: “Sony Crime Channel is a destination channel for audiences who want crime drama series and real-life factual stories under one roof. With a great lineup of programs including Orange is the New Black, Line of Duty and Real Detective, this channel launch underscores our commitment at Sony Networks to providing quality entertainment, free-to-air for the U.K.”
