German VOD Service Pantaflix Scores Disney Deal

Pantaflix has inked a deal with The Walt Disney Company Germany to bring movies such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi to its VOD service.

The package includes all of Disney’s new releases and hit franchises such as Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as an extensive library of films, including Disney classics, global blockbusters from the Marvel universe such as The First Avenger, hit animations from Disney-Pixar and family entertainment like Frozen. The movies will be available on the VOD platform in parallel with the DVD launch. The Disney content will join Pantaflix from the first quarter of 2018, first in Germany and Austria.
