ProSiebenSat.1 Posts Q3 Revenue Increases

Third-quarter revenues at ProSiebenSat.1 Group increased by 3 percent to €883 million ($1 billion), delivering an adjusted net income of €99 million ($115 million).

German-speaking broadcasting revenues slipped by 2 percent to €488 million ($567 million), and digital entertainment revenues were down slightly to €103 million ($120 million). Digital ventures and commerce posted a 26-percent gain to revenues of €227 million ($264 million). Content production and global sales revenues fell by 5 percent to €106 million ($123 million).

“We have consistently diversified our business over the recent years,” said CEO Thomas Ebeling. “With its dynamic growth, our commerce business now contributes significantly to our earnings. We want to continue this successful strategy and thus base our group structure on three strong pillars.”

For the full year, the company is predicting a mid-single-digit percentage increase in group revenues and improvements in EBITDA and net income.
