Ex-NBCU Exec David Mortimer Joins Tinopolis

LONDON: David Mortimer, who previously served as senior VP of factual and entertainment at NBCUniversal, has joined the Tinopolis Group as its director of content.

In this new role, Mortimer will be responsible for the group’s U.K. content direction and performance and will work with Tinopolis’ production companies in both the U.K. and U.S. to develop a strong transatlantic production strategy. He will also be tasked with driving the group’s growth by identifying and recruiting new talent, with a particular emphasis on popular factual and factual entertainment.

Mortimer will report to Arwel Rees, the CEO of Tinopolis Group. He will work alongside John Willis, the company’s creative director.
