SPI Channels Launch on Türksat/Kablo TV

WARSAW: Eight SPI International channels are rolling out in Turkey via cable operator Türksat/Kablo TV.

The channel lineup on Türksat includes entertainment channel FunBox UHD, movie channels FilmBox Turkey and FilmBox Arthouse, sports channels FightBox and Fast&FunBox, the documentary channel DocuBox, the music channel 360TuneBox and the interactive gaming channel Gametoon. All channels are currently being localized in Turkish.

In addition to the linear channels, Türksat/Kablo TV now offers customers access to FilmBox Live, a multiscreen VOD service featuring live-streaming channels and a huge VOD library.

“We are very excited about the launch of our channels on Türksat/Kablo TV, the country’s largest cable operator,” said Murat Muratoglu, SPI’s sales director for Turkey and the Middle East. “SPI’s presence and distribution in Turkey will be growing rapidly with its channels being localized to Turkish.”
