Sky 1 to Launch in Germany

LONDON: Sky’s flagship entertainment channel, Sky 1, is making its debut in Germany and Austria.

The channel will join Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Arts HD, the Sky Kids app and a wide library of on-demand content, including Sky Box Sets, in the roster already available in Germany. Sky 1 will be available exclusively for all Sky customers in Germany and Austria through linear and on-demand viewing via Sky Go, Sky On Demand and Sky Ticket. The channel delivers hit series from HBO and Showtime, as well as local and European Sky programs. Sky 1 in Germany launches this evening with the first episode of the international hit cooking show MasterChef, produced exclusively for the channel.

Customers will have access to popular brand-new series and shows that the entire family will enjoy, as well as shows on demand.
