Sky News Plans Multiplatform U.S. Election Coverage

LONDON: Sky News has set out a range of special multiplatform U.S. election coverage, beginning on Monday, October 31, with a nightly show presented by veteran news anchor Jeremy Thompson.

America Decides will air from midnight to 1 a.m. in the U.K. Monday to Friday. The program will deliver Sky customers the latest developments, interviews and analysis of the closing stages of the campaign. Sky News will then be presented live from Monday, November 7, from a specially created studio overlooking Times Square in the heart of New York. Coverage will continue through to the end of Wednesday, November 9, before transferring to Washington, D.C. on Thursday, November 10, as attention turns to the U.S. capital and the job facing the new president.

There will be also be a comprehensive, instantly responsive results service on TV, mobile, social and Sky Q.
