LONDON: Sky Sports has boosted its schedule of live soccer, adding three seasons of the Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL).

CSL runs from March to November with 16 teams competing for the title. Sky Sports will show the games live through to 2018. The deal was negotiated with IMG on behalf of the CSL.

Additionally, viewers can expect to see more Premier League games this season, including Friday night matches for the first time.

Sky Sports’s head of football Gary Hughes said: “This is more great news for football fans as we get set for our biggest ever season on Sky Sports. The Ping An Chinese Super League is attracting players from Europe and is creating a really exciting competition that will only add to an incredible lineup of live football on Sky Sports.”
