C4 Appoints Commissioning Editor for Entertainment

LONDON: Channel 4 has promoted Sarah Lazenby to the post of commissioning editor for entertainment.

The move comes as the roles in the factual entertainment and entertainment teams have been defined under the leadership of Liam Humphreys, head of entertainment. Lazenby has been serving as editor of entertainment at C4 since June 2015. She will work under Ben Caudell, head of comedy entertainment, and alongside Syeda Irtizaali, commissioning editor of entertainment.

Caudell commented: “Sarah has proved a fantastic member of the team, so this is a thoroughly well-deserved move. Her enthusiasm, energy and verve are boundless and she really gets behind shows that she loves, both in development and production, so she’s a real asset to indies as well as to the channel.”
