New CEO Appointed at WeiT Media

MOSCOW: Endemol Shine Group has revealed that Yulia Sumacheva was recently named CEO of WeiT Media, a leading production company in Russia with a portfolio of scripted and nonscripted programming.

As CEO, Sumacheva will continue to be supported in her day-to-day operations by COO Roman Elistraiov. She began working for WeiT Media in 2009 as producer in chief. During her time at the company, she has contributed to the success of such hits as Your Face Sounds Familiar, The Biggest Loser, MasterChef Junior and Ashes, to name a few.

Timur Weinstein, founder of WeiT Media, is leaving the company to begin working for Russian broadcaster NTV.
