Channel 5 Scores Penn & Teller: Fool Us in Vegas

LONDON: Channel 5 has acquired the original TV magic show Penn & Teller: Fool Us in Vegas.

The 13×1-hour series is hosted by Jonathan Ross and filmed at the Penn & Teller Theatre at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. Each episode features four magicians who test the magical insight of the world-famous American illusionists and entertainers Penn and Teller to see if the duo can figure out how each magician performed the magic tricks.

Katie Keenan, the head of acquisitions for Channel 5 and Viacom International Media Networks UK, who brokered the deal, commented: “I’m delighted to announce Penn & Teller: Fool Us in Vegas for Channel 5. The public’s appetite for this magical duo has never abated. Pair them with Jonathan Ross in a glamorous Vegas setting and you have event TV at its best.”
