LONDON: Duncan Gray, who most recently served as creative director at Princess Productions, has established a brand-new indie content outfit, Twenty Six 03.

Gray previously served in such roles as VP of alternative series and specials at ABC in the U.S., during which time he launched Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He was the controller of entertainment at ITV, responsible for commissioning Britain's Got Talent. He also once served as head of entertainment for Sky 1, where he commissioned such hits as A League of Their Own and Got to Dance.

He commented, “Twenty Six 03 came about as a very nice surprise but now that we’re in business we're all very determined to make it a success. We're on the verge of announcing a big and exciting commission and as a 100 percent independent company, we can concentrate on high-quality programming without any of the margin and distribution issues that get in the way of creativity in some bigger content businesses.”
